This Bed Exit Alarm is manufactured from a heavy duty, easy clean vinyl with a textured slip reduction surface. The cable entry point is reinforced and moisture proof for a longer product life. This large sensor mat is designed to be placed on the floor at the side of the resident’s bed providing coverage for the full length of a standard bed at 1200mm in length. The cable connects to our SMI Sensor Mat Interface (refer to our other products for detail) which plugs directly into your nurse call system. If you already have one of Bedalarms SMI interfaces they are re-usable/ interchangeable with these SMV floor mats.
Care and instructions are printed on the underside of the mat, for the ease of any staff member using the product on-site.
